We've been really impressed with this Strong Lightweight Peg and feel a little guilty about the lack of respect we gave it after our first meeting.

It's super light and fairly thin, which is why we didn't think it was going to cope with the forces produced by our larger shelters.

We were wrong and, to be honest, should never have doubted the US Army who made them.

The pressed aluminium is incredibly strong and sturdy.

They're a great length, which means they are perfect anchors for the parachute tipis we produce.

They are also really easy to remove.

A decent tap, front and back, and they'll slide straight out.
